Our restoration process began by utilizing the latest digital scans of original film rolls from NASA's Apollo Program archives. Utilizing advanced photo editing software, we removed scratches and damage from the Hasselblad camera film used during the spacecraft and lunar surface missions. After repairing the images, we meticulously brought out the true and lost colors from the film scans.
The restoration and color grading for the book took nearly a year to complete. The result is an extensive collection of previously unseen Apollo photographs with exceptional detail, color, and print quality.
